The Bishop's Wife and Peace on Earth

First posted on FB 12/15/13:

Just watched one of my favorite holiday films, “The Bishop’s Wife” (1947) which ends with a wonderful sentiment. I only wish all so-called Christians (and everyone else for that matter) would heed its final words: "And we have even forgotten to hang up the stocking of the child born in the manger. It’s his birthday we’re celebrating. Don’t let’s ever forget that. Let us ask ourselves what he would wish for most. Then let each put in their share: loving kindness, warm hearts, and the stretched out hand of tolerance, all the shiny gifts that make Peace on Earth." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUk09rjFRpw
